On the bus ride home last night
a gentleman took the
seat next to me ...

Quiet and kept to himself -
just the way I like my seat mates ...

And then ..
He licked his hand ...
THREE
times ...

AFTER he had been touching
the bus seats,
and rails ...

All I could think about was

PLEASE DON'T TOUCH ME!
PLEASE DON'T TOUCH ME!

... and if you do touch me,
I will punch you in the face!!!

The bus really brings out the rage
in me ...

sLeEpiNg oN tHe BuS ...

About 80% of bus riders
fall asleep
while riding the bus ..

Is this a proven statistic?
No, but that is
the percent of people who on
MY bus fall asleep.

Listen bus riders -
no one appreciates you falling asleep
on the bus.

FIRST off it's RUDE.
SECOND - when you fall asleep you make
the riders who are NOT
asleep VERY
uncomfortable ...

SO uncomfortable in fact that we
start having
MASSIVE
anxiety attacks ...

I'm not too sure when it was
decided socially acceptable
for you to fall
asleep on the bus ...

But let me tell you something -
NO ONE appreciates you
passing out on them ...

And NOBODY wants a complete
stranger falling asleep on them with
your mouth OPEN.

NOBODY.

I punched a lady in the arm TWICE the
other day for this
behavior.

And she STILL CONTINUED to
FALL ASLEEP
ON ME.


It also makes me wonder
how many people miss their stops
everyday due to
passing out during a bus ride
on a complete
strangers shoulder ...

Get some manners bus riders of Seattle ...

But let's be honest, I am
just not in the
position to hack it here ...

Maybe had we met at a different
time or under different
circumstances things
would have worked out better
for us ...

I have given you everything I have
Seattle,
and you continue on your
selfish path of

Like a summer fling I'm sad
to say that I think we may have run
our course and this is the
end ...

I'm sure I will see you again

But I'm off to find a city who will treat
me right and
take me out before
bending me over and abusing me ...

Finally things seem to be
calming down for
me.

I need to get myself into
more of a routine.

Routines are
good to have when you have
experienced a
BIG change.

I think they are actually a
must.

I'm kind of just flyin by
the seat of my
pants here ...

Which is completely unusual for me.
I used to have everything
organized down to the minute.

It's kind of liberating to
just be able to go
with it ...

Is it the smartest thing to be doing?
I don't really
have an answer for that

Except that so far
I'm doing just fine ...
I'm always landing on my feet ...
I'm not gonna stress ...
Cause the worst hasn't happened quite yet ...

FoCuS ...

The hard part about being in a
new city with new
surroundings

Is that there is SOOO
much to look at

SOOOO much to take in...

And my office just so happens to
overlook The Sound ...

How am I supposed to be
expected to
FOCUS
during my workday
when there is SOOO much to
see out of my window?!

The water is CONSTANTLY changing
The sun and lighting is
constantly reflecting against
the water in ways that I
didn't even know
EXISTED.

And the buildings
the boats
the ferries
the submarines!?!?

Well .. not sure about the
submarines ...
But I like to pretend they are out
there ...

I am SO lucky to be
living and working in this
GORGEOUS
and
BEAUTIFUL
city

And

And so far you have been quite good to me.
I have learned more than
I could have ever imagined I would

I have learned about culture and diversity.

I have learned how to ride a bus ...
aka use public transportation.

So much has changed ...

And I think it's in a good way ...

People always say,

"Well when you grow up ..."

I think it was one morning as I was eating

a bowl of Cheerios

that "Growing up" just hit me ...

People aren't joking when they

say "growing up is HARD"

There is so much to think about ...

and you can't just think about yourself anymore ...

You have to think of tons of things -

such as other peoples feelings ..

and if it really is a good idea

to get on a cell phone plan with your boyfriend...

I don't think you will EVER know

if something is absolutely

the correct thing to do ...

but I think that's part of growing up

And I think those are the risks we all need to

take in order to

continue on with this

so called "growing up"
